Well, like I said, Taka said to me in an email a while back that he
would consider coming if he could be covered for hotel or airfare.
This was a while ago and I haven't contacted him since becuase I
haven't had much luck in cobbling same together (and I didn't think an
appeal here would meet with much success, but maybe I'm wrong). Since
time before the con is growing short and airfares increase the closer
to departure, we should try to do this quickly if we are to do it all.
I have no idea offhand what the airfare would be (need to check
travelocity) and I am not sure where he would fly from (Orange County?
LAX?) but I would guess at least $250-300. The hotel cost would likely
end up similarly ($90 or so is it? times 3 nights)
