[LoGH] Anime USA Report....

What a waste of the time of those of us who worked on Valley of White
Silver, getting it done in time for this. I can't even call it a
panel. Here's the rundown:
-Before Con:
Scheduled for Saturday 3PM-5PM
-Arrive at Con Friday:
Scheduled for Saturday 2PM-3PM
-Talk to person in charge of programming
Panel restored to 3PM-5PM
-Talk to him this morning to confirm
Panel moved to 2PM-4PM
-Arrive at 1:45
All panels so far have been running late by 45 min. Another panel has yet
to go ahead of LoGH.
-3:05 PM
Panel before LoGH ends, run around like a madman to get our video
equipment in the room
-3:15 PM
Begin episode 2 of White Silver
-3:55 PM
Music Video Workshop comes in to tell us that they refuse to move b/c
they've been hyping for 4PM and we will be required to cut short (despite
arguments, we were at least allowed to finish ep 3)
-4:05 PM
Episode ends. We leave.
Due to the schedule bouncing, and lack of updates from con staff, people
who came at 2pm found a manga panel that was scheduled to have ended at
that time just beginning and didn't know what to do/where to go (or so the
one person who managed to find the "panel" at 3:15 said..) Total
turnout: 4 (including myself.)
At least a tape of VoWS is being prepped for mailing to Kodocha Anime for
distribution on Monday.
As for the con, tomorrow's gripe session. I plan on being there and being
a force to be reckoned with.
