I don't think your opinion was a spoiler at all.
You just wrote a certain fact of the story.
I guess it's not a spoiling problem. It's just
a problem of tastes. Nobody can blame or deny
others' opinions just because they don't like it.
Your opinion was not a joke nor a rubbish.
At least, I believe so. And it's better keeping your
mind flexible and wide. Otherwise you'll miss many
interesting things in life. That's the waste!
