LOGH @ Other Cons

Well, it's time I wrote my review of the LOGH premier at Anime Expo.
First off, it was great walking into the room and seeing Hank all dressed up. I only wish Walter could have worn his costume as well. I know some people that attended didn't wear their uniforms as well. We have to coordinate getting a group shot taken at a future convention, with people dressup in different characters like the group shot that was posted about six months ago(Minus the platform shoes).:-)
After sitting five rows back, trying to see the subtitles on the big screen television, I decided to sit on the floor at the very front of the room. Trevor joined me sitting in the main aisle.
The making of special that was shown first, reminded me of an Entertainment Tonite show for anime. The special that was shown on Direct TV(Satellite) in Japan, interviewed the main director and producer of the series. It also showed the studios where the series was being made. I really wish I could have seen more of the behind the scene footage of how the animators were creating the animation. They were hyping the new OVA series because it was cell less like Blue Sub #6.
After that, the premier of the new OVA was shown. I believe "Evil" Taka was the one who subtitled this, but if I'm wrong, please tell me who did it. The animation was very good in this episode. It didn't have to many action sequences in it, but the story was quite good, covering the early years of Yang.
After this was shown, we had about an hour long discussion, with many topics to behold.
Where to buy mechandise(Games, models, shirts) for LOGH?
How to bring the series to other markets besides Japan?
When will Japanese DVD's of the series be coming out(Not for a long time I'm afraid.)? :-(
Who made those banners hanging from the front(great job to the two lovely ladies who made them!).
Ohh, the producer brought 24 cells with him from the series that were raffled off. I'm wondering if people on this list could post the cell they won.
I like to say that I'm very glad we had a group picture after the panel. I'm wondering if someone will post the group picture from Sakura Con and Anime Central?
I'm glad people on this list plan to at least get together at Otakon. Any other cons on this list have LOGH in their plans?
I'm proud to state that we had 5 people from the Sakura Con staff there. Con Chair(Isaac), Vice Con(Lance), Treasurer(Ed), Assistant Operations(Rich), and Japanese Website Translator(Trevor).

I hope that maybe AWA, or some other con in the east can have an LOGH panel.
I'm thinking in the future, to cosplay as Rheinhard in his full dress uniform, as that uniform is so good looking. Now, if I can just get a spectre and a burger king crown.
