I'm quite into Stargate SG-1 on Showtime (earlier seasons play in
syndication).   But SF is having another dark age it seems; Trek hasn't been
decent in years and now regularly plagarizes SF novels; I'm very happy Crusade
got canned in midstream - what was JMS thinking?; EFC has become so bad the
actors are quitting.   

Unfortunately I think LoGH would have a strong cult following in the USA but
would never become a mainstream success (pretty much echoing it's status in
Japan).
