If you refer to a movie version as to the OVA or TV series a few anime titles change the story lines (even dramatically), and the world the characters play in are in a Parrellel-dimension or an alike world or Brittannia(RPG term). Here are a few Examples or references to go by are Utena(movie) as to the TV series, and from what I heard Escaflowne(Movie) to it's TV series due to the new power varints, lastly in one of the Patlabor Movies and I believe it was the first OVA ; (opinion--->)were there is a goverment overthrow the story seem to much alike where it seems to be rehashed of the same version. Also the reference to Angel as you may say could be just be lovers speil or words that someone is love that has not expressed it so in there own moment of relection, Like a someone in Love. Refering her or the love of his life to his---> Angel, Buttercup, or Pookie. This point does kinda depend on the Kanji(emotion) of his words and situation (dream, pondering byhiself, making his love talk/moves toward Annnerose, blah blah... You get the point? _______________________________________________________ Say Bye to Slow Internet! http://www.home.com/xinbox/signup.html
