From what I can glean from peering at the Data Book, that does appear to
be the case. Only the enormous cost (I'm guessing for hull shaping and for
equipment to squeeze into that hull) compared to a standard ship seems to
keep it from becoming standard. Would explain why only one other ship gets
the same treatment.
