Mekton Zeta has been reprinted recently after several years OOP. The base
game is not much good for fleet engagements but you could use the
fleet/mass
combat rules found in one of the supplements which is also long OOP or the
cinematic system in the gm guide.

Thanks, Andy, for giving me the interesting part of the info I requested.
I've several anime' based RPG's in my collection, but most have the mecha
orientation I personally find tiresome, and couldn't recall if Mekton went
that way exclusively. (Or even if I have any Mekton or just the Robotech I
was obviously thinking of...)
Funny how I get a little shudder whenever the Valkyries come on screen.
If you can recall the supplement's title, I can probably find it in a
friend's pile, and I'll be looking for the GM's guide.
Full Thrust is pretty adaptable, though, and I won't quite give up on it
yet. ;->=
