I prefer not to wear a costume when moderating a panel - for something
like this I want to create the impression of thoughtful
professionalism to increase the likelihood of interesting new people
who might otherwise be put off by what might be interpreted as an
excess of fannish zeal. Unfortunately with all the other stuff I will
be doing my bringing my costume might be more difficult than I'd
anticipated earlier.
