Life Expectancy in LoGH is actually a bit shorter than it is now from my research into the series. The primary cause of this is the Galactic War (in fact this is a plot point); moreover on the Imperial side there are assassinations and very spartan health care. -- Lee Thompson thompsonl@logh.net
