This is really a tough call; Rikako's points are all valid as well -- I
believe that during the USG's peak; life expentency was probably pretty good
(100-120 years possibly) -- however from the GE onward the galaxy is
experiencing a dark age.

Moreover, when you have populations as large as the Free Planets and Galactic
Empire I'm sure good health care is probably available to the rich and noble.

It's actually kind of moot because so many are dying in combat; and on the
Imperial side you have a lot of assassinations and so forth so the leading
cause of death is... man himself.

It's an interesting topic.
