I'm probably (okay, definitely) in the minority here, since I rather like
Oberstein. I wouldn't take his advice blindly but then I wouldn't take
*anyone's* advice blindly. Nor do I think that Reinhardt did either. Most of
Oberstein's advice was tactically quite good - at least in the first season.
Of course, so far all I've seen are the first season, 8 episodes of the
second season and 2 unsubbed episodes of the third, so it could well be that
Oberstein had more negative influence later on. What little I've seen,
though, suggests that most of Reinhardt's decisions were his own.
