Due to a re-installation on the looney.physics.sunysb.edu server which 
erased the list archive alias, recent messages (since late september)
were not automatically archived. I have since changed the alias and
manually updated the archive with the poll results and some other
messages I still had in my mail spool, but be advised that not all
messages in the past, say month or so, will be there. Not that there were
many- it's been fairly quiet on the list.
