Well I could giove a very rough description (I've watched it unsubbed
so don't understand 100% of what is going on but have a rough idea.)
However this would be spoilers so maybe this would be best in private
mail (though considering the spoiler on the end of the novels posted
here recently these might be irrelevant...^_^;)

My understanding is that VCDs are basically only found in Asia, like in
Hong Kong and so on.  Basically they are MPEG video on cd-roms.  And
most of them are bootlegs as I understand it.  I dunno if this matters
to you, but if you feel opposed to SonMay cds then you would probably
be against vcds as well.
