I knew I was banking my vacation hours for some reason, but I may be stuck in Michigan that weekend. That giant piece of machinery has been delayed for eight months, maybe another couple of weeks won't matter. I haven't been to AX since...er...'94. I was a bit disappointed in its commercialism compared to Dallas' fan cons. But now I may be forced to embrace it if it brings me the WHOLE series...within less time than Nadia. Whatever happened to "Orguss" anyway...just when things were starting to make sense in a cool way the tapes stopped. My guess is that Tokuma is going to shop the series themselves, like SONY and "Samurai X". If I can get used to the voices in "Dragonball," anything's possible. I had pondered that the only way to see LoGH is for some megacorporation to underwrite the series for PBS, like Mobil's repackaging of British dramas on "Masterpiece Theater." I wonder if an anime fan in MobilExxon will get them to look at the other end of the globe to something like "World Masterpiece Theater." At least they wouldn't edit for time or the gory bits. Anyway, I'll have to polish the gold and brass on my Yang costume, and maybe sew on one of my FPA badges despite their misspelling of "FREE PRANETS". I need a roomate...with a room. P.S. I found my hunter green beret at J CREW. Show your solidarity! I can make you a gold pentastar. Regards, Scott Swoboda
