Newbie Question

Hi everyone, I've been on the list about a month and have posted
sporadically. I was first introduced to LOGH in 1996 but it is just
recently that I finally saw more than a couple of episodes. So far I have
only seen up to episode 16 and it is by far the best anime I've ever seen.
I would like to know how many episodes have been fansubbed so far? Also is
fansubbing a taboo on this list (I may have missed it in the FAQ but I
didn't see anything against mentioning it)? Obviously we need to petition
to bring the series out in the US, but for the time being my Japanese is
nowhere near good enough to understand an logh episode without subtitles.
If anyone could help me out I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.
