SPOILER AHEAD!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ... Kircheis' reaction to the fact that his beloved Reinhard allowed the Westerland Massacre to take place. Anyone agree with me that this is probably the definitive event where Reinhard first allowed his ambition to trample over the "common people"? I was kinda disappointed with his action. I mean, he started out with such good intentions; wanting to save his sister from the lecherous king, and by association, destroy the leeches that were the nobles. Even his climb for power could be explained by the fact that he didn't want anyone else to have power over him and his circle of friends. ("And he was _such_ a nice young man before.") I suppose there were warning signs of this happening. See his strategy for dealing with the Free Alliance ill-fated invasion. Using starving people as a weapon... tut tut.
