Well I think that if there is an informal gathering, it will be just people meeting at the panel, and then perhaps assembling after the panel is over to go to the bar (if the hotel lets people in costume use the bar/restaurant this year) or perhaps eat dinner or something. So far I have gotten responses from about three people on the ML who are interested in this. I also know a couple of other non-ML fans who might be interested. Anybody else? Also, Walter has proposed that all LoGH fans gather at the Open Mic Karaoke on Saturday night to sing the Alliance Anthem (or some other song, for us Imperial loyalists). However I don't think a time has been worked out for this. The Open Mic karaoke starts after the Masquerade and will run as late as possible, so I guess if we want to make this a formal gathering we could work out a time now... > Can someone set up a time schedule for this list and send it out. I have some LOGH friends who are not on this list but are going to expo and would like to meet up with fellow fans of the series. I wish I could go. Isaac's comment about non-ML LoGH fans reminds me. I was toying with the idea of somehow publicizing the ML and the IRC channel in some way at the panel. Either by passing out flyers (perhaps a "LoGH resources flyer" listing all the major websites, the ML, and the channel), or by plugging the ML at open mic time. However I'm not sure this is the most appropriate thing to do at an Industry panel, and I'm not sure if you, the members of the list, are okay with that. Anytime you publicize a mailing list there is a chance of the signal-to-noise ratio decreasing. On the other hand, we'be been public for awhile, and I would tend to think LoGH fans are too intelligent and well-reasoned to send bad emails to the list. Besides, I would just kick-ban them if they did :) Any thoughts you guys might have on this would be greatly welcomed. > Ohh, besides the dub playing at AX, will the new 6 part OAV series that premiered last year be shown again this year at the con? Are there any other new LOGH projects that are being worked on? Last I heard, one of the video room guys was trying to get a showable copy of Gaiden. (Some of you may remember me asking about this about a month or so ago...) I got no replies (except for one saying "buy the LDs" :P), and no word yet on whether he was successful otherwise. -Hank Hank Wong hankwong@soda.csua.berkeley.edu LoGH List Admiral http://www.hooked.net/~renegade "So fast...like a gale..." -Vice Adm.
