Oh? And what is the Alliance, chopped liver? Really, English is the native
language of the Alliance you know. Even up to the point in episode 31 or so
(which I haven't sent you yet) where Yang is typing up a policy memo or
something explaining why he thinks further war against the Empire is useless,
and it's all in English and pretty legible. This is another nice attention to
detail that really turns me on about this show - they pay attention to what
language the characters are supposed to be speaking - witness Mittermeyer's
letter to his wife at the end of the first movie, also written in fairly
legible and realistic German.
