It depends on what sort of characteristics you're talking about. Despite my
frequent online persona, as a person probably Yang is the most likable person
in the series. He is the sort of person I would like as a friend - eminently
capable of making me think (as he often does with some of his diatribes about
democratic dociety) yet quite down to Earth. I suppose much the same goes for
Kircheis and Mittermeyer.
However if you were to ask me who in the series I would want to BE, it would
have to be Reinhard. He's very close to exactly the way I imagine myself to
be in my delusions of grandeur. Holding absolute power, gets to wear really
cool uniforms, but isn't really a tyrant (although he shows signs of becoming
so as the series progresses.)
