I wanted to mention that I recently got in the mail the second LGH Roman
Album. It is actually on loan from a friend and not mine, but I do want to
scan some of the pictures and put them up on the UT Anime ftp site asap.

For the most part the book features the artwork of the manga artist Katsumi
Michihara, so the fan of the anime only probably won't have a lot of interest
in it. Still it's a little interesting seeing the alternate interpretation of
some of the characters. I find it most intriguing to note those characters
(like Kircheis, Oberstein, and Mecklinger) who look very much like their anime
versions, and the others who don't. I can only assume that those that look
similar are probably described enough in detail in the books that the artists
didn't have a lot of room to guess.

There is also one sketch I particularly like where Michihara draws the manga
characters in the anime style uniforms. This is one I definitely intend to
scan.

For those here more in the know about the other works of LGH author Yoshiki
Tanaka, I have a question: There is a section in the book with Michihara
illustrations of another Tanaka work apparently entitled "Titania", which
looks like another space opera. Anybody know anything about this or what it's
about?
