ADV Fansubs, a future for LoGH?

I remember Scott mentioning back at the AX99 LoGH panel that it could be a
good idea to ship out LoGH through Snail Mail for the first 26 episodes as
it was orginially done in Japan. I don't know if there is any connection
but...

ADV seems to have thought of the idea too and are doing it with City Hunter
and Nadia. Why they are calling it fansubs is beyond me (and slightly
annoying, as a fansubber) but the idea is there. Maybe this is a test run
for LoGH?
ADV-LoGH connections, thoughts anyone?
In any case I think the most viable solution for LoGH is a direct TV
appearence. With no good Star Trek shows on right now, and therefore no real
good SF shows on network TV (at least that was the case when I left America
7-8 months ago) LoGH would be a great option for network TV, but more
realistically it would be good for The Sci-Fi Channel, or The Cartoon
Network on cable, or this All Anime channel that many fans are petitioning
for on cable.
Just something to think about,
Trev
