I'll agree to that, I always thought it was rather common in european
cultures to go for hair (ie. madame bovary, locks of lover's hairs, etc)
Though it hadn't ever occured to me to think of it as an asian thing...
I didnt' think it was particularly unhealthy to keep the hair in a locket,
it doesnt' necessarily decompose and leave a toxic trail after all.
