Thanks all!!! I now believe that I have a very good understanding of the
translation of Mittermeyers ship and nickname. I appreciate all the help on
this issue.
Also I love history, so please keep the research coming. I find it
fascinating that so much of the show was based on actual history. I knew
that their was numerous references to the importance of history in the show.
The intrigue in the show has usually highlighted past historical events.
However the depth that the creators went to reference history is incredible.
