Thanks all!!! I now believe that I have a very good understanding of the translation of Mittermeyers ship and nickname. I appreciate all the help on this issue. Also I love history, so please keep the research coming. I find it fascinating that so much of the show was based on actual history. I knew that their was numerous references to the importance of history in the show. The intrigue in the show has usually highlighted past historical events.
