Okay, all the known permutations:

Mittermeyer's flagship:

Beiowulf: Anime's (mis)romanizaion

Beowulf: The obvious correction of the romanization, which of course
brings to mind the famed epic myth.

Werewolf: literal meaning of the kanji title, "man" or "person" + "wolf"

Mittermeyer's nickname:

The Gale Wolf, anime translation, first mentioned in episode 15(?)

Wulf der Sturm, used in the English dub and the novels (so I'm told for
the latter, as I have not read the original novels yet.)
