[LoGH] LGH & Card Captor Sakura

Over the weekend I was looking at the web page below, which is a
collection of photos of a Japanese cosplay circle that went all out and
built the costumes for all of Reinhard's staff from the manga version
of LoGH:

If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend looking at them since they
are spectacular costumes (I especially like the Imperial palace guard,
complete with spitz-helmet on the last page).
However while looking at them a friend pointed out something I never
noticed before, which made my eyes bug out and my brain squinch. In
several of the photos the costumer playing Reinhard (a girl, FYI) is
holding a golden baton (supposed to be Reinhard's Field Marshal baton).
On the second page of photos near the top you can get a closer view of
this staff, especially in this photo:

It took my friend to notice that in fact the staff they are using is in
fact a gold-painted magic-wand prop from the main character in CLAMP's
"Card Captor Sakura"! Gah! My costuming ability is nowhere near as
impressive as these folks', but at least *my* costume baton has a
proper Reich Eagle on it!
