Hmmm, not quite so simple- the LGH ships have weak side shields which
make them vulnerable to the side shots and small craft/fighters.  Given
the B5 advanced races' ability to warp in without a gate and LGH tech
seems to have bottlenecks that are navigational-related, and the B5
types may be able to do a surprise Pearl Harbor and really tear up a
fleet before superior numbers are felt.

On the other hand LGH ships are firing at 5 million kilometers rather
than the close-in B5 ranges, so presumably their lasers are at least
equal to the B5 ships' beam weapons and probably better long-range
targeting.  Those forward shields sometimes take direct close-in hits
too, so the LGH forward shields may be stronger than general B5
shields.
