As Taka put it at Katsucon, "Tanaka grew up watching Gundam." It helps
explain the kill-em-all mentality IMHO.

LoGH was done at Artland Studios, more well known for Macross and Megazone
23. The director, Mr. Ishiguro will be at AX and promised to be at
Katsucon 8 (which I'll be at) so you could always ask then on design
issues....
The only thing I really see LoGH paralleling is real history - 'cuz it
does =)
