Hi all!
Caught Pearl Harbor today at the noon matinee ($6 is still quite dear).=
It was pretty good, basically like Titanic with all the people sliding =
off sinking ships & the Macross Plus-style love triangle. ;-) Good CG ey=
ecandy & explosions. Nice Battle of Britain dogfights included as a bonu=
s. Popcorn was decent. ^_^ =20
One weird quibble was seeing Dan Aykroyd as this Washington intelligenc=
e analyst. I keep seeing him as the bumbling, over-technical federal emp=
loyee in "Spies Like Us." ^^'
The only thing that really reminded me of LoGH was this scene where one=
of the Japanese officers addressed Admiral Nagumo as "shireikan" (means =
"commander" I think), since I constantly hear them say that in LoGH. ;-)
