Well the initial attraction is love at first sight but Annerose treats both
him and Reinhard with great kindness. So that attraction is reinforced,
strongly and quickly.
I also suspect that Siegfried himself isn't quite sure about *what* type of
'love' he's feeling either be it a crush, infatuation, mother type, romance,
etc.
