As I recall, Braunschweig's ship had "outriggers" with a curved pointy
beak-like front end, and I think that Littenheim's flagship when he left for
Fortress Garmisch had outriggers that had plain square ends on them.

I always sorta wondered if they stole this idea from the flagsip of the
Illumidas Earth occupation force commander from the end of the Harlock movie
"My Youth in Arcadia"...;-)
