Hello,

It's really very harsh to say that Reuentahl was a traitor. Yet he is
the one who carries much blame for the "rebellion". (Rubinsky, Ranke et
al carry most.) I don't think his leading all his troops to fight
Mittermeier's was an act "to keep the Kaiser's spirit up". Mittermeier
did give him the last chance to stop his bizarre act before bloodshed
occured. He should have taken it. It's Reuentahl's own ambition that
brought about his downfall.
