Actually, my favorite "might have been" couple from Galactic Heroes:
Siegfried Kircheis and Baroness Magdalena von Westphale!
Yes I know they never actually were an item in the series and that Kircheis
tried (politely) to reject her flirting when possible, but Maggie is just such
a fun character! I wish we had seen more of her in the show. I would *love*
to see some side story episode where Reinhard secretly conspires with her to
deliver Kircheis into her hands. We did see him promise in "The Klopstock
Incident" to drag Kircheis along to Maggie's birthday celebration, to
Kircheis' obvious discomfiture. ^_^ I have long thought about writing a
fanfic around this general idea.
Following in a close second for favorite couple:
Julian Minci and Charlotte Cazellnu. ^_-
