Not liking Yang?

How can anyone not like Yang?
Actually, I like the fact that he is lazy and likes drinking tea (spiked
with Brandy). In my opinion, these "imperfections" make him more
likeable. As someone on the list has already mentioned, he is a
common man. He understands that soldiers are also people (and that there
are people who will grieve over them when they die in battle). He is one
of the few characters in the story that truly hates war. (It's truly
tragic that he is good at what he hates most...)
