Galactic Heroes, I believe, if done properly (and marketed properly) =
could
find a loyal audience here in the states. However, I don't believe it =
would
be as popular as some of the more flashy, T&A, action over substance =
anime
that has become so commonplace.

Galactic Heroes would really have to be dubbed (and identity titles put =
in as
in the original version) and dubbed well. Frankly, Galactic Heroes has =
far
too much dialogue for viewers to read (and still follow any action).

The audience in the states would be hard SF fans and 'epic' story fans,
probably a lot of the Babylon 5 crowd and fans of Foundation and other =
hard SF
classics. If the series was dubbed well and marketed towards this =
group, I
think money could be made. Just not a lot.

On a side note: While at Tokuma USA a few years ago, they did have =
materials
in english to promote the series but they had changed the title to =
"Galaxy of
=46ire". =20
