Man that must be an old piece of tape. I remember seeing the clip you
mentioned about 4-5 years ago before I'd even seen my first episode of LOGH!
The bald brit you're referring to is Clive James. He's well known for his
satirical/cynical view of well, everything really. A lot of people think
he's funny - personally I think he's crap.
We colonial types (I'm in NZ) are subjected to a lot of brit tv. Most of it
is garbage soapy stuff but some of their sitcoms are funny. It seems we
haven't thrown off the shackles of colonialism yet and a lot of our elderly
population are immigrants from the British Isles so I guess that's their
link to home.
As a colonial and descended from English and Scottish (breakaway parliament
yes!) families all I can say is the Americans got it right when they had
their war of independence! I'd fight for independence from crap brit tv and
crap brit presenters like Clive James!
