History:	Rear Admiral Arthur Lynch was part of the defense fleet at El Facile, in 788UC (eight years before the first episode of the series). The Galactic Empire launch a major offensive and the planet had to be evacuated. A young officer, Yang Wen-Li, organized the evacuation while Lynch and the other starship commanders fought off the Imperial onslaught. Lynch's ship was boarded and he was taken as a prisoner of war. After the failed Free Planets invasion (#12-16), Reinhard talked Lynch into getting revenge for El Facile. You see, Yang was made a hero, but everyone forgot about Lynch. Lynch happily accepted. Lynch returned to the Free Planets during a prisoner exchange and immediately began to plant the seeds for a coup within the upper echelons of the military.
