Hmmm... well, not in B5, but the main cannon of the Excalibur in B5:
Crusade had its own sound effect at least. :)
Actually I am picturing the first time a Shadow fleet tries to attack
Iserlohn, Thor's Hammer firing, and all the organic ships looking like
crisped barbecue before blowing away like dust... then some SD vorlons
grinning and snickering.

Or alternately the Minbari of today (well, 2235) would act a lot less
like they all have poles up their asses...
