Quiet list. Here I was worried that my account would flood. Well...
heres a topic that doesn't require prereq knowledge on Allied/Axis
columns. Which doe all of you think is better- manga or anime? Yeah.
deadhead question. Think the manga is better because of the fluid ink
designs that grace those pages. Very aesthetic. The strategies are
harder to follow since I obvioously can't read any of it and its not as
fluid (if anyone has the translation to the first few collected series...)
but the characters are sharper. And Annerose and Jessica are prettier ;}
Although it can be argued. not to say that the character designs are bad
with the animated version but had hoped that they would follow the manga
designs more closely. Ah well... If you haven't noticed, like ink and
graphite designs... dunno why. Maybe its the poor man's way to express
himself or herself.
Application exams: Provide reasons and influences that led you to come to
the decision of applying for military school. (standard textbook entrance
personal essay.)
Mecklinger: "I wanted to be an artist and yet, you can't make money as an
artist so I decided to join the military."

Yang: "I wanted to be a history major but the only way poor people like
me could fund our education is to join the military. How typical
it is that only through war can man prosper."

Fredrica: "I became enamoured with a man who saved me at El Facile and
decided to model my career after him. My father might have also
had something to do with it..."

Grand Admiral Reinhard von Lohengram: (theme song chime) "I wanted power.
Power enough to surpass my enemies. If the high nobles are my enemies, enough
power to surpass the high nobles. If the emperor is my enemy...
enough to surpass even him! But without power, I can do
nothing... (cracking of laser pistol)"

Kircheis: "Me? Join the military?"
