Wow! I am beginning to wonder more and more about Ishiguro-sensei's comment
at AX96 about how faithful the LGH anime is to the books...

This is an extremely important nuance, since the fallout from the Westerland
incident causes so many subsequent problems for Reinhard. In the anime
context it doesn't make nearly as much sense for Reinhard to beat himself up
with guilt about this when they portray him as having been duped by Oberstein.

This leads me to ask - could you possibly enumerate some of the other
significant differences you know of between the novels and the anime? I think
this would be an important bit of data to compile. Especially to include in
the big revision of the LoGH Info Center web page.
