Well here's another confusion - the scene I think you're referring to with
the coins is the one in the first series (episode 4) when Reinhard loses his
sister to the Emperor, and his father receives payment for it in coins. In
the same scene reenacted in the "Golden WIngs" OVA, Sebastian is holding some
sort of credit device looking like a credit-card sized calculator with a
digital display showing a number with a lot of zeroes. Anybody know how
Sebastian von Museal was paid for Annerose in the novels and which version is
more faithful?
Personally on an aesthetic level I like the coins better because it gives the
whole thing more of a "30 pieces of silver" feel, although probably the
electronic credit makes more sense in the future (he can put it in his
"Bill"-fold... ^_-)
