Hey David

	I live in canada too, and B5 is a live action show dealing with 
a lot of aliens in complexed plots which revolve around a space station. 
It has been on t.v( on and off) since I think about the same time as DS9 
started. The only actor I know is one of the captains. He used to play on 
Hardcascle & Mrs. King in the 80's. It's a great science fiction which 
rivals Star Trek ( so some people say ). Though it has nothing to do with 
Japanese anime, it's creator is a fan. I remeber seeing him at the last 
con in L.A. The posibility that Anime was an influence, is high. Most of 
this is only my observationin meeting the creator(not god):)
